Feeling Fancy Flapjacks

Fancy making a flapjack that's just a touch different? These heart-shaped flapjacks are both easy to make and flipping lekker.

1 cup All purpose flour (or any)
1 tsp Baking powder
½ tsp Bicarbonate soda
¼ tsp Baking powder
1 tsp OK Housebrand sugar
  Pinch of Housebrand salt, optional
1
Medium/large egg
1 tsp Vanilla essence
1 cup
Buttermilk (or any milk)

1 Make a heart-shaped mould from cardboard and tin foil.
2 Combine flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, sugar, egg, vanilla essence and buttermilk or milk in a large mixing bowl.
3 Whisk until smooth.
4 Spray the pan and the inside of the mould with non-stick spray.
5 Place the mould in the centre of the pan and pour the batter into it.
6 Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
7 Carefully remove the mould and flip. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
8 Garnish to taste. Voila!
