Beer Mojito
Beer is great on its own, though it's also a fantastic ingredient for cocktails. With The Beer Mojito, we’ve taken the traditional mojito that uses club soda, and we’ve given it a brew-tiful twist with Devil’s Peak Lager. Add white rum, lime wedges, mint leaves, simple syrup, and crushed ice — and you’ve got the perfect drink to serve for guests who can’t choose between a beer and a cocktail!
1 | Set aside one of the lime wedges, and squeeze the juice from the rest into a glass. |
2 | Add the lime wedges to the glass and muddle. |
3 | Set three mint leaves aside and add the rest to the glass. |
4 | Add simple syrup. |
5 | Fill the glass with crushed ice and add white rum. |
6 | Stir upwards from the bottom using a long-handed spoon to evenly disperse the lime juice and mint. |
7 | Top up with Devil’s Peak Lager. |
8 | Garnish with the remaining lime wedges and mint leaves. |
9 | Cheers! |
Pro-tip:
Don't have any limes on hand? Try using lemons for a twist on the classic Mojito! But note that you might need to add more simple syrup or use a little less lemon to balance out the extra sourness.
