The Texas Mule
Meet the Texas Mule, your new favourite summer sipper! It mixes the bold flavours of El Jimador reposado tequila with the zing of Schweppes ginger ale, hot sauce, fresh basil and a splash of lime — creating the perfect balance of zesty, sweet, and spicy.
1 | Muddle the basil leaves in the bottom of a shaker. |
2 | Add the El Jimador reposado tequila, peach soda, simple syrup, lime juice and hot sauce. |
3 | Add ice and shake vigorously for a minute or so. |
4 | Add ice to a glass and strain the tequila mixture into the glass. |
5 | Top with Schweppes ginger ale. |
6 | Garnish with more basil leaves. If you like it a little spicier — garnish with jalapeño slices. |
