Feeling Fancy Flapjacks
Fancy making a flapjack that's just a touch different? These heart-shaped flapjacks are both easy to make and flipping lekker.
| 1 | Make a heart-shaped mould from cardboard and tin foil. |
| 2 | Combine flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, sugar, egg, vanilla essence and buttermilk or milk in a large mixing bowl. |
| 3 | Whisk until smooth. |
| 4 | Spray the pan and the inside of the mould with non-stick spray. |
| 5 | Place the mould in the centre of the pan and pour the batter into it. |
| 6 | Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. |
| 7 | Carefully remove the mould and flip. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes. |
| 8 | Garnish to taste. Voila! |
