STICKY COLA SHORT RIBS
Sweet, sticky, and slightly spicy — this dish takes a braai classic and gives it a mouth-watering twist with another classic — cola! The short ribs are marinated in the ultimate sweet-sticky glaze, oven-baked to perfection, and then added to the braai for a sizzling finish. It’s easy to make, oh-so-delicious, and sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
| 1 | Salt the short ribs. |
| 2 | Put tomato sauce, cola, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and all spices into a bowl. |
| 3 | Whisk it all together. |
| 4 | Pour the mixture over short ribs to marinate. |
| 5 |
Put in the fridge and let it marinate over night. |
| 6 | Cover with foil (to lock in moisture). |
| 7 |
Oven bake for 60 mins at 200°C. |
| 8 | Take out of the oven. |
| 9 | Braai for 10 minutes a side. You can continue to brush with the marinade. |
| 10 | Serve & enjoy! |
Pro-tip:
To make sure your ribs are tender, cook it in the oven first. Put it on the braai once done to finish it off with a nice sizzle and char.
